Founded in 2051 B.S. in Gaindakot Municipality, Shining English Secondary School has spent over three decades building a bilingual, disciplined, internationally-recognised education for every child who walks through its gates.

Convenient location, beautiful surroundings.
Just outside Narayangarh bazar, in Gaindakot Municipality, our campus sits in a central, accessible spot with an open, scenic setting built for focus. Since 2051 B.S., we’ve grown that setting into infrastructure designed to a genuinely international standard.
Multilingual education, one standard for every student
Classes run from Play Nursery through Class 12 in both Nepali and English. Nepali, Social Studies and the local curriculum are taught in Nepali; every other subject is taught in English. This approach serves a diverse student body — our focus stays on quality education for every learner, regardless of race or ethnicity.
Recognised nationally and internationally
Shining operates as a non-governmental organisation and has earned recognition both inside Nepal and abroad. We are the only school in the district to hold three international marks of quality at once: ISA 2020–23, ISO 9001:2015 (issued by UASL, UK), and CPD Provider certification from the UK.
A holistic learning environment
Beyond academics, we offer Management, Science, Education and Humanities streams for grades 11 and 12, led by qualified, experienced educators who nurture students academically while supporting their wider ambitions.
